Ashley's Fall and Winter Essentials

The time has come! The weather is finally starting to change and that means goodbye flip flops, hello boots! Check out some of my top picks :)

A NAUTICAL NAVY BLAZER

Everyone by now has (or should) have a black blazer. But I think navy blazers are so chic and the gold buttons give it such a nautical feel. I like to pair mine with a nice scarf and some over-the-knee boots.

LEATHER LEGGINGS

I can't live without my leather leggings, they are SO versatile! You can pair them with anything and still look chic. Plus they are very affordable, you can buy them at WalMart or Macys.

SPIKED MOTO JACKET

Moto jackets are a staple for me in every color, but with spikes being so hot this season pairing the two is super cool! I'm still on the lookout for a spiked moto jacket myself. 

SWING SKIRT

Just like the high-low skirt was an essential for the warm weather, a swing skirt is definitely an essential for the cooler weather. This style of skirt is ultra feminine and for the colder days you can pair it with a pair of opaque tights for a more sophisticated look.

COMFY SWEATERS

I freakin' love sweaters! V-neck, cowl neck I adore them all. For me sweaters in the cold weather are like blouses in the warm weather; it's an essential item! You will look so chic in a pretty sweater, statement necklace and some skinnies. 

CARDIGANS

I have about as many cardigans as I do blazers. I feel they are a more laid back alternative and you can dress them up or down. They go well with jeans, rompers, dresses, EVERYTHING! Stock up on a couple so you can be warm and fashionable!

A FANCY WINTER COAT

I am drooling over this coat! It is fabulous! Coats are my favorite thing to wear in the winter because there are so many colors and styles to pick from. Don't just stick to boring black, brighten up a cold, winter day with a pop of color!

OVER-THE-KNEE-BOOTS

I never really got into over-the-knee boots until I saw the way Kimmy rocked them (surprise, surprise) now I'm addicted! I have a suede pair but now I want some leather ones so I can be extra FIERCE! Don't be intimidated by these babies, you can dress them up or down!

ACCESSORIES

Beanies are a must have item and they're perfect for those bad hair days.

Rihanna is rocking that leopard print scarf! Scarves can jazz up any outfit, Forever21 always has some good ones for cheap so stock up!

These gloves are so LUXE! I want a pair in like every color. They remind me of Jackie O; just a simple accessory like this can elevate your entire look.

I don't know what it is about pearls that makes me think of the cold weather but I feel this is an essential item! Pearl necklaces, bracelets, earrings buy them all. The cold weather is all about layering and everyone just looks a little more classy and conservative. Pearls will give you that opulent look every girl wants to have.
