September Obsession: Michael Kors Watches

OK, I LOVE watches and I feel like every woman should have at least one nice watch. Usually when I'm ready to buy a watch I go for a Fossil one, but NOTHING compares to these beauties by Michael Kors. They are a little pricey, around $160-$400 but I feel like they're worth it. I plan on investing in one real soon.

Aren't these gorgg? I especially love the gold ones, but since I already have a gold watch I think I'll buy a silver one next. Ahhh if only I had all of the money in the world to buy ALL of them! Which one is your favorite?

Nails of the Week

You like?? I love mixing pink and black together! As usual this is a solar nail set with glitter powder. I used to do polish but it just doesn't last as long as the powder. Tell me how you all like my new mani :)

Chanel Blush and Lipstick Review!

Hello lovelies! So I have a review for you all: Chanel edition! I did a little shopping on Labor Day and I had to stop by the Chanel counter. Check out what I think of my new babies.

CHANEL JOUES CONTRASTE BLUSH IN MALICE $43

I have A LOT of blush but I needed one that wasn't so pink. The picture doesn't capture it as well but this is really more on the coral side.

PROS

*The packaging of course, you just can't beat that classic CC logo.

*The product isn't powdery or too creamy, it's just right.

*You can build the color you desire. 

CONS

*As usual it is a little small, but as I have said before I think this is a high end thing.

*For women of color this may be too light if you are darker than my complexion. I love this blush but I do have to build the color I desire.

Overall I give this blush a solid B.

CHANEL ROUGE LIPCOLOR IN EXTATIQUE $34

Yep, another Barbie pink lipstick!

PROS

*I love that the lipstick pops out of the black sleeve, and that gold CC logo at the top! Ahhh in love!

*This is a very pretty pink, like almost a magenta.

*Very hydrating.

CONS

*This color is kind of sheer so you have to build it for that more opaque look.

Overall I give this product a B-.

As you can see my Chanel collection is growing! It's really fun to collect Chanel especially because it is so classy and beautiful. I hope you guys found this review helpful! Happy shopping :D

Christian Dior Five Color Palette Review

So I was lucky enough to win this fabulous gift in a giveaway done by a friend of mine at school * HEY CANDY * ! I have never tried any makeup from Christian Dior besides their mascara so I was super excited to review this product. Let's gooo.

PROS

* I love the compact! It is just lovely. I pay attention to details like that when I'm looking at makeup because I like to display mine in my trays.

* These eyeshadows are VERY pigmented, I recommend them more than the Chanel eyeshadow quads which can be very powdery.

CONS

* THE PRICE!! OMG, I Googled the cost for this palette and it retails for about $67!!!!!!!! But is is Christian Dior but still... yikes!

* The pans are small, but I notice with all high end makeup like Chanel, YSL etc the pans are not going to be as big as for example Urban Decay.

OVERALL?

Overall I would give this product an A-. If you are a collector of high end makeup then you will definitely want to add this to your makeup stash. For my frugalistas out there I wouldn't break the bank for this. As lovely as it is you can achieve the same look with some of the cheaper brands like Urban Decay or Stila. I do like this product a lot though ESPECIALLY since it was a gift ahhh like I'm the luckiest girl in the world to win a free Christian Dior palette! I will be buying more from this line and I'm so happy I got to try this product. Thanks again Candy xoxo
