Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Review

TGIF! So I have another product review for you guys today. I was in Target the other day and I was in the beauty section 

*of course* and I came across this foundation (among other things but I will do separate reviews later). I was surprised that they made this product for women of color so I thought I'd give it a try. Here are some reviews and pics.

PROS

*The price for starters is amazing, $8 for 18 grams of product? #iyess

*The color matches my skin PERFECTLY! For a drugstore foundation that is quite an accomplishment. I am NW45 in MAC so this color would work probably up to NW47.

*The texture really is like mousse, light and airy. I can tell this product will last for a long time.

*The finish is very matte, after a couple of hours I had less shine on my T-Zone than I usually do with my MAC Studio Sculpt. 

CONS

*Even though the texture is mousse-like, this product is thick so you don't want to apply too much of it or it will look cake-y.

*For the real "airbrushed" look, I think this foundation is best applied with a flat top kubuki or a stipple brush. You can use a foundation brush but it won't look as light.

I GIVE THIS PRODUCT AN OVERALL A-

For $8, it is worth a try.
