My Fall Makeup Wishlist!

Bonjour babes! So I hope you all have had a lovely Saturday, I have enjoyed mine immensely. I've just been doing laundry, cleaning and relaxing (yep I'm boring). I decided to make a little "Fall Wishlist" because as the seasons change sometimes you want to incorporate different looks. Check out some of the makeup that I will be purchasing soon ♥

MAC "BLUE FLAME" EYESHADOW $21

Isn't this gorgeous? This is MAC's "extra dimension" eyeshadow and it really does look like a mixture of many shades in person. I own "Young Punk" and "Cindefella" both absolutely lovely shades. They look like little galaxies lol and I hope to be able to add this one to my collection soon. 

MAC MINERALIZE SKIN FINISH IN "GOLD DEPOSIT" $29

I have seen this bronzer on women of color on YouTube and it is HAWT! I own a skin finish in Deep/Dark but this one has more sparkle to it which is great for a highlight. 

MAC PRO-LONG WEAR BLUSH IN "WHOLE LOTTA LOVE" $23.50

Like I need another pink blush! But this one is so pretty and I just love the name. This color makes me think of cupid and hearts :) 

MAC POWDER BLUSH IN "RAIZIN" $20.00

OK, now this blush I DO need! A lot of times with deeper skin it is hard to find a blush that is more "neutral" but still appear on your skin. This one does the job! I'd recommend it for all skin tones, Kim K is a fan as well *winner*

BENEFIT "JET SET" TRAVEL KIT $36

Believe it or not I do not own ANY products from Benefit! I really started getting into "high end" makeup about a year ago so I'm still adding more brands to my collection. I was on Macys.com browsing and I saw this and thought it was adorable. You get eyeshadow, blush, mascara, lipgloss AND primer all in this cute little box. 

BENEFIT "THEY'RE REAL" MASCARA $18

I have heard so many great things about this mascara I think it is worth trying. I love big, bold eyelashes and since I simply CANNOT apply false lashes so I need a mascara that can do the job for me.

NARS BLUSH IN "TAJ MAHAL" $28

This blush has been on my wishlist forever and a day. I need to purchase it asap, I've heard so much hype around it I feel like I must add it to my collection. I only have one blush by NARS but it is reallyy nice so I'm anxious to add more.

CHANEL ILLUSION D'OMBRE MIRIFIQUE $36

Oooo la la yall know I love Chanel :D I have swatched this product at the Chanel counter and it is beyond lovely! It is a bit small for almost $40 but hey, it's Chanel!

URBAN DECAY "VICE" PALETTE $58

 OMGEEEEEE! I saw this at the mall last weekend and the colors just leap out at you. I will own this palette!!!! 

URBAN DECAY "NAKED 2" PALETTE $50

I kind of skipped out on the first Naked palette but I gotta have this one. I have been really getting into the "neutral smokey eye" look and these colors are perfect. For the price you really can't beat Urban Decay eyeshadows.

Ben Nye Translucent Powder Review

Hey guys, so TGIF! It has been a long and stressful week but I wanted to go ahead and get this post up. So for all of my true makeup junkies, you have all heard of the fabulous Ben Nye powders which have been made popular by 

KIM KARDASHIAN! I purchased the famous banana powder and also a face powder in chestnut. Check out the details below :)

BEN NYE "BANANA" POWDER $9

Let's start with the famous banana powder! OK, at first I was a little hesitant to order this product because I was worried it would leave an ashen look to my brown skin. WRONG! Since this powder has a yellow tone to it, it blends perfectly with all skin tones. If you are a woman of color especially this is for you. The powder itself is very fine and goes on smoothly. It is meant to be a setting powder but I use it to set my under eye concealer. I see why it has been selling out like crazy! And you get so much product for the price and you really don't need a lot. I give this product an A++

BEN NYE "CHESTNUT" POWDER $9

I ordered the banana powder before I ordered this powder just to see if Ben Nye's products lived up to the hype. I am not lying when I tell you this powder is the business! I compare it to any loose powder by MAC and you get double the product. Chestnut is perfect for my brown skinned sisters but Ben Nye makes plenty of other face powders for my lighter to darker skinned girlies. He has soooo many to choose from so don't worry about his colors being limited. I have actually set aside my MAC Studio Fix Powder for this one. A+++

Jewelry Organization Post

Hey lovelies! I am obsessed with my jewelry, handbags and perfume being very organized. I thought I would share with you all how I store my goodies! I hope you guys enjoy it :D

I store my bracelets and some of my necklaces on this three-tier stand I ordered from Amazon.com. I keep this one on my nightstand and I LOVE IT SO MUCH because it makes my room feel like a boutique and now I can actually see the things I have!

This container is such a 90s throwback! I remember it came with some makeup or something for my birthday a LONG time ago. But it's cute so I use it for my fabric bib necklaces. 

This is another one of my favorite trays I bought about two years ago from Icing. I put my heavier earrings on the bottom rack because when put side by side they look so pretty. The two cuffs at the top were a little big for my rack so I thought they'd be pretty there. 

I bought this three-tier tray from Icing as well and I find it to be pretty useful. At the top I just have a sparkly bangle, second row is where I keep my stud earrings and at the bottom are a few nail polishes (which is crazy since I never do my own nails!) LOL. 

These dress things are pretty popular but I'm actually not a huge fan of these. But I needed somewhere to put my chandelier type earrings so this served that purpose.

Oooo la la I love, love, love my mini dress form! I usually keep a necklace or two on this just to jazz up my room a bit.

Last but not least I use my "hand" to store some of my rings, I'll probably invest in another one soon; this was another purchase from Icing!

I Finally Went Ombre!

Yes I know FINALLY! I tried to do it myself a few months ago and failed miserably! This time I left it up to a professional and she did an amazing job. It is even brighter in person ahh I <3 it!

What to Wear for Every Occasion this Fall Season

It is the perfect time to start storing our summer clothes and dive into fall fashions! There are many new trends that are coming this fall, such as colored skinny jeans in all colors, Even if you own a closet full of trendy clothes, it can be challenging to create outfits for different occasions

You can create several outfits for those days that you need something casual that you can just put on and go. A chambray shirt is a very versatile piece that you can pair with colored jeans and boots or a dress and flats. You can also wear the same shirt tucked inside a maxi skirt or a pleated mini and slippers. If you don’t own any of these items, pair your favorite jeans with a pretty blouse and your embellished ballerina flats.

The simple tailored dress is very trendy this fall, especially in fun colors, such as bright green. You can wear your dress to work with simple black pumps and pair it with patterned tights and ankle boots for going out at night. Invest in a blazer that you can pair with different trousers for work but will still look good with skinny black jeans and mini skirts. Another of my favorites is the chiffon “secretary” button down blouse that will look stylish yet professional paired with pencil skirts for the office and will look more youthful with a lace mini or wool shorts and tights.

You can mix and match the to create perfect outfits for any occasion. Try a cap toe pump with skinny jeans, and a feminine blouse for a more casual look. The tweed jacket or sweater is also a favorite in brunches across the world. It is especially important that the clothes that you choose fit your style and feel comfortable. If you feel good in your clothes, you will wear them with confidence and they will look good.  Dare to accessorize and add the perfect pair of shoes to your look this fall season! The way you carry yourself makes a bigger impression than the outfit that you’re wearing, so don’t leave your confidence at home either!
