Ashley's Fashion Essentials

OK, the time has come for me to dish the dirt. I have compiled a list for all of you of my fashion must haves! Sit back, relax and take notes.

BLAZERS

This is first on the list because it is the MOST versatile. I love blazers so much, I have a lot and am constantly adding new patterns and colors to my closet. Blazers flatter ALL body types which is perfect for busty gals like me. You can pair a blazer with jeans, a dress, even a romper. Forever21 always has the best ones for the low. 

A GOOD FITTING SKINNY JEAN

There is NOTHING like a good jean. When the fit is right you just have more of a pep in your step. Finding jeans can be hard for any body type. I find that Forever21 and most department stores like Macys carry a variety of cuts and styles. 

LITTLE BLACK DRESS

Audrey Hepburn started the LBD trend and now it has become a staple in every woman's closet. The LBD comes in many styles and can be worn for almost any occasion. This is what makes it an essential item. 

A SHEER BLOUSE

I picked this as an essential item because I have found that a sheer blouse not only goes with everything but it just makes an outfit look more fashionable and sophisticated. If you are just trying to build up your closet, I would stick with neutral colors, then add the bold ones later. Another great thing about a crisp, sheer blouse is that you can dress it up, like Blake did (above) by pairing hers with a brooch. 

BALLET FLATS

A ballet flat is essential to any girl's wardrobe. If you are like me and have a hard time walking in heels flats are vital! The best thing about flats are that you don't have to compromise style for comfort. 

NUDE HEELS

I'm not saying that black heels are not an essential item as well but nude heels are hawttt and they make your legs appear slimmer. You can splurge on a pair of Red Bottoms or check out http://www.shoedazzle.com/ for some great knockoffs. 

STATEMENT NECKLACE

Yall know I love jewelry, so it was hard for me to pick one piece that would be the most important. But no other piece of jewelry makes an outfit like a statement necklace. I have been collecting a few for the past few months, I urge you to add some to your life. Marc Jacobs "Lola" Review

"Lola!" I have been wanting this perfume for a long time and my mom was sweet enough to buy it for me for my birthday. Keep reading for my review...

So I bought my set from Marshalls for $49.99, it is the 1.7 oz perfume set. They make another set in 3.4 oz that comes with lotion and shower gel. That particular set retails for about $73.

PROS

* For $50 I feel that the size of this set is great. It comes with a full size Lola bottle and a mini (perfect for your purse) and body creme.

* The packaging is GORGG, this perfume looks so beautiful on my perfume tray. 

* This scent is very sexy, when I put it on I feel like va va voom!

* The tones in this scent are very floral: rose, pink peppercorn and geranium. 

CONS

* The scent doesn't last as long as I would like it to, I'd say about 4 hours.

* Lola is definitely a perfume for the evening because it is very spicy, this may not be ideal for someone who would want to wear it throughout the day. 

OVERALL

* I would buy this scent again, but it is not my favorite.

* I say give it a try it is definitely a scent for a night on the town with the girls or a date with that special someone.

I love this top! It fits pretty loose (which I prefer) and I love the sheer detail. The fringe on the end is cool too. I have a TON of black tops but I feel like you can never have too many.

Another shear top! LOL. This top is more ivory than white and the detail is soooo pretty. You can pair this with jeans or a bodycon.

Out of all of the tops I bought this is my FAVE. For one cobalt blue is hawt this summer and the neckline is so cool. This blouse is shear also with pretty gold buttons.

Colored skinny jeans are HAWT and I couldn't stand to be left out of the trend. Not only do these jeans fit great, I love the distressed detail. I love them so much I had to get two pairs (below).

Bedroom Tour!!!!

Hello! I told you guys I would do a "Room Tour" and here it is. I plan on adding more things like a chair or vanity real soon. Maybe some of you could give me some ideas. I hope you like it.

*If you have space above your clothes use it to show off some of your nice heel and handbags

*This has to be my favorite thing in my room! My mom went to a garage sale with really RICH people lol, and a lady happened to be selling this. And it is REAL. I am in love.

*I love Breakfast at Tiffany's so I decided to incorporate some of the portraits from the film into my bedroom. I have another one close to my bed.

*Jewelry trays are another great way to show off your goodies! I bought mine from Icing. My dresser is a great place to store them.

*I adore my nightstand. I bought that mini dress form from Marshalls and it really adds something special to my room. And what is a room without Marilyn?
